Bonding Procedures and Policies

Detainees incarcerated overnight or longer.

After the inmate's name is recorded in the database, it should take approximately 20 minutes for the record's clerk to prepare inmate folder for bonding. This time frame is based on the conditions that the inmate is NOT in court that day and/or does not have a hold from another agency that requires additional information from the agency and a reply is needed. In those instances more time will be needed. The time needed depends on when the inmate returns from court and/or when the needed information is received from the other agency.

New detainees.
Detainees coming to the department after being arrested and attending bond court must be processed into the department before bond is posted. The time frame before bond is posted will depend on when the person is brought from court to the CCDOC and processed.
